Oh? You were expecting more? Isn’t the above enough? C’mon folks, why does this have to be so complicated?!?!?! Oh, okay, if you insist…

• Be polite and respectful.
• No insulting, demeaning, or deurrogatory comments.
• No publishing of someone else’s personal details, even with the other person’s permission.
• Assume good faith.
• You have the right to your opinions and beliefs — and the person you’re disagreeing with has a right to his/her opinions and beliefs.
  • I promise not to moderate your comments just because I don’t agree with your opinions and/or beliefs. I expect you to show the same respect to others. If you disagree with someone’s opinions/beliefs, you have two options:
    1. Ignore the comment. This is the preferred action.
    2. State “I disagree with you” then calmly explain why without getting emotional or being insulting, while at the same time as being respectful of the other person’s opinions/beliefs.
• We are the Internet. We are a multitude. We are legion of different cultures, beliefs, religions, ideologies, and philosophies. Always strive to understand and be respectful each other’s differences. If you can’t do that, then at least be tolerant of each other’s differences.
• If you have an issue with someone, talk it out. If you can’t talk it out, use the mute, ignore, or block button. It may seem mean — but it’s better than toxifying the environment through arguing and slander!
• Always be direct and honest, and do so without being mean and insulting.
• Cussing is okay only if it is not directed at another person or used as an insult.
• If you can’t accept constructive criticism, you’re on the wrong planet and using the wrong Internet. Being able to take (or possibly ignore) advice is just part of life.
• If you want to be an oversensitive prick, you’re also in the wrong place. Walk away, take a deep breath, do something calming, then think through why were so upset.
• If you just want to nitpick, don’t. Constructive criticism is fine, pointless nitpicking is not.
• If you’re here to be an ass, fuck off and rethink your life.
• Having any given race, religion, philosophy, culture, ethnicity, disease, disorder, gender, sexual preference/bias, or any other trait does not give you any more or less entitlement than anybody else. We are all people. We are all equals. Where relevant, we will act as a meritocracy where you are judged not on any given trait but purely on the merit of your contributions.
• Pornographic images, jailbait, and similar illicit materials are strictly off-limits and you will be banned immediately for posting them.
• Everything you post must be legal in your locale (state/province, country, etc.), the United States, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Illegal content and/or action will be reported to law enforcement immediately and will earn you an immediate and permanent ban.
• When posting copyright material, one of the following must apply:
  • You own the copyright.
  • You have permission from the copyright owner.
  • Your use falls under Fair Use. You must cite Fair Use appropriately.

  Use of copyright material you don’t own, don’t have permission to use, and can’t legally claim Fair Use on will be reported to the copyright owner and will earn you an immediate ban.

• The site owner reserves the right to enforce all rules. You are in my domain, so you follow my rules. If you don’t like that, you’re free to go somewhere else, or to set up your own domain with your own rules.
  • To clarify: most infractions will get one or two warnings (and possibly a temporary ban) before I whip out the Ban Hammer. Only those instances where ill-intent is obvious, a copyright violation occurs, something illegal is posted, or something sexual is posted will a perma-ban happen without any warnings
