Let’s Go! Review Pokémon Games

I finally completed both Let's Go! Eevee and Let's Go! Pikachu (well, unless you count that blasted Pokédex...), and I have a few comments for things I liked, and things I didn't. Here are my thoughts on the Let's Go! games.

Please Support “I, Pastafari: A Flying Spaghetti Monster Story”

A documentary is nearly complete detailing some of the legal issues Pastafarians have faced trying to get equal rights and equal treatment in comparison with other so-called "mainstream" religions. The documentary is being made by filmmaker Mike Weeks, and both he and the prophet Bobby Henderson would appreciate some help getting the word out.

Dark Matter, Dark Energy, and Extra-Dimensional Space

In my previous post, I described a possible link between String Theory and Pastafarianism. Now I'm taking a more scientific approach to talking about String Theory: a possible link between the extra dimensions provide by String Theory and two other things scientists are strugglying to understand.

String Theory: A Possible Ally of Pastafarians

When I first heard of String Theory, I scoffed. It just seemed so ridiculous and crazy. "11 dimensions? Seriously? Dimensions are just an abstract way of describing space! And what, exactly, are these strings?" However, I've been taking a closer look at string theory lately, and I think I might be inclined to start accepting it as an actual possibility. I'll do a post on the scientific side of this later, but this post is focusing on the religious.

A Christmas Theory: Why are there so many Santas?

We all know who Santa Claus is: that creepy fat guy in the red suit who, once per year, sneaks in to the houses of sleeping children to give them presents for some unknown reason. Why I Still Use Floppy Disks

Floppy disks are an exceptionally rare sight today, outside that tiny icon on your screen you use to save your documents. However, they were once physical devices that actually saved documents, not some icon that activated the save function of your word processor. There are those of us today who still use these devices, and below are my reasons for continuing to use them.

Top Ten Least Favorite Kanto Pokémon

A couple months ago, I posted a list of my favorite Pokémon from the Kanto Pokédex. If I have a list of favorites, it stands to reason I have a list of dislikes. In no particular order, this is my list. And remember, the key word here is opinion.

Pokémon Director Stepping Down

It's been awhile since I've posted anything, but for a long-time Pokémaniac like me, big news recently hit. It's certainly not anything bad, nor something I can write a whole lot on, but it is somewhat important, so Let's Go!

The Fallacy of the (un)Smart Phones

When smart phones were first announced a few years ago, my inner geek was immediately intriqued. I desperately wanted to get my hands on one. When I finally did, I played with it obsessively, but I gradually developed a hatred for the darn devices. Here I attempt to explain why.

Top Ten Kanto Pokémon

It's been awhile since I thought back to my days in Kanto, trying for the first time to become a Pokémon master. The save batteries in my cartridges have long-since died, and I deeply miss my friends. For nostalgia's sake, I figure it's time to do my first Top 10.
